Sally Duval believes it's 'high time' for change in Texas. The 59-year-old Hays County woman — who manages the family business, Coltex Petroleum — is running for District 73 in the Texas House . She hopes to unseat Rep. Carrie Isaac , R- Dripping Springs , and legalize recreational marijuana.

But Duval and her team created the video to get the word out about her campaign.

She likens the recreational use of marijuana to the recreational use of alcohol, and believes it should be regulated similarly. Duval said she isn't smoking marijuana in her campaign ad.

Duval's Republican opponent, Isaac, declined to comment on Duval's video, as well as on her stance on the legalization and decriminalization of marijuana in Texas.
