NORTH ROYALTON , Ohio - If you see a giant chainsaw hanging from a helicopter hovering around the Ohio Turnpike in North Royalton , the police department assures you “we’re not in a James Bond movie...
” A contractor with FirstEnergy told NRPD that “they will be flying this terrifying looking contraption along the main transmission lines along the Ohio Turnpike within the next few weeks to clear tree branches that might be getting close to the lines. ” “We’re letting everyone know in advance as we expect this might attract some attention ,” NRPD stated.
However, NRPD shared Arbor Metrics, the company flying the Aerial Doom Boom Saw, told the department these flights will happen in the North Royalton area on either Thursday, Friday, or Monday. Here’s what NRPD warns NOT to do if you see this saw in action:“Don’t throw logs, sides of beef, or anything else you need cut up at the saw.
