m. on Saturday in the 7300 block of Parkes Street in the Acres Homes area. When officers arrived at the scene, they were met with a large crowd gathered in the yard for a house party, officials said. According to police, officers discovered that six people had been shot after a shooting broke out. Officials said that Houston Fire Department crews responded to the scene and took one man who was shot to the hospital, adding that multiple people who were shot took themselves to different hospitals as well. Out of the six people shot, one is in critical condition, according to officials, with the other five victims expected to be okay. None of the victims was a child, according to investigators.
