The annual awards show, created and hosted byfor directing, choreography, lighting design, set design, costume design, singing, dancing and many other roles both on and off the stage, the Tommy Tune Awards highlight the future creatives who will shape the future of theatre, not just in Houston but around the world. , the awards show began in 2002 and has become what many consider Houston’s biggest night for high school musical theatre.
