Firefighters in Graham battled a large fire at a wrecking yard late Wednesday night, marked by repeated explosions. Flames were first reported just after 10:30 p.m. at the property off Highway 161.

Fire crews arrived to find intense fire burning through stacks of unprocessed vehicles, with explosions continuing as the blaze spread through the yard. A total of 12 fire units from multiple agencies worked for hours to contain the fire. Crews brought it under control at approximately 3 a.m. Thursday.
