Captain America actor Anthony Mackie and internet stars like MrBeast and Mark Rober joined forces at Disneyland's Avengers Campus to fulfill the wishes of nearly 40 children as part of Disney Week of Wishes. Captain America and internet stars team up to grant 40 life-changing wishesWho can say they've helped pull off a cosmic jailbreak alongside an actual Avenger?
For 9-year-old Coen, a big dream came true when he finally met the man behind Captain America's shield. Coen's wish was the heart of a much larger mission at the Disneyland Resort, as Avengers Campus turned into a hero's headquarters today for an event called "Wishes Assemble.
" As part of "Disney Week of Wishes," nearly 40 wish kids and their families arrived at the park for a day of superhero magic. The kids spent the morning training like heroes and listening to stories with famous creators like MrBeast, Mark Rober, and Dude Perfect. The excitement grew even more when Captain America himself walked into a Marvel art class. Actor Anthony Mackie surprised the group and gave a Hasbro Captain America action figure to every child there.
He traveled to the park with a wish to meet his favorite hero and spent the afternoon riding Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! side-by-side with Mackie. Together, they helped "break out" the Guardians on the fast-paced ride. Throughout the day, wishes came to life across the Disneyland Resort through personalized moments with talent, immersive experiences and a private evening celebration.
