According to police sources, the disturbing incident unfolded at around 6:26 p.m. on May 11 inside the Bush-Clinton Park in the Red Hook Recreation Area. Law enforcement sources said a 5-year-old girl was playing with her 7-year-old and 12-year-old brothers when they began videoing the suspect. Cops say they are searching for a maniac who attacked a group of children as they played in a Brooklyn park earlier this month, strangling a 7-year-old child in the process.
Cops said the man became enraged and knocked both the 12-year-old and 5-year-old to the ground before wrapping his hands around the neck of the 7-year-old and squeezing. The child suffered pain and bruising but was treated on the scene by EMS. The children reported the attack to their parents that evening to officers at the Meanwhile, the unhinged brute took off from the park on foot.
