Two 13-year-olds were arrested Saturday night after several fight s broke out near a carnival at Park City Center Mall in Lancaster .
Fight moved across multiple areasThe Lancaster Bureau of Police said a boy and a girl were involved in a fight that began in Ollie’s parking lot, moved to the carnival, and then into the mall parking lot. This was the view caught on tape by a young person in the parking lot near the carnival Saturday night when several fights broke out.
Rumors of weapons not confirmedThere were rumors that night of a stabbing in the crowd or someone with a gun, but Lancaster police said they have not substantiated either claim. Despite the fights, police confirmed that no one was hurt. Fairgoers reached out to News 8, complaining about the use of pepper spray by some departments to disperse the crowds.

Carnival operator has faced prior incidentsThe owners of the carnival, operated by Penn Valley Shows, are familiar with police investigations near their events.Last year, two people were shot at a Penn Valley Shows carnival behind Penn Medicine Park, leading the company to close the fair’s final day as Lancaster City Police investigated. News 8 called the mall and Penn Valley Shows for comment, but did not receive a response.
Lancaster City police said they have been in touch with Park City management and the carnival’s owners and plan to continue working with them throughout the carnival’s tenure at the mall this week to ensure everyone’s safety.
