TULUKSAK, Alaska - A Bethel grand jury has now returned an indictment for a Tuluksak man who was arrested on murder charges after another man was found dead in the Western Alaska village. The state says 42-year-old Jonathan Owens is facing two counts of second-degree murder, and one count of tampering with physical evidence.
Troopers determined Owens shot Hawk after an argument at Owens’ fish camp. He was later arrested and taken to Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center.Owens was initially arrested by investigators and taken to Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center. Hawk’ body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
