A St. Clair County correctional officer was arrested following what the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) describes as a “large narcotics operation.”

) - A St. Clair County correctional officer was arrested following what the Alabama Department of Corrections describes as a “large narcotics operation.” According to ADOC , their Law Enforcement Services Division, which includes Narcotics, Criminal and K-9, have been conducting an investigation which is focused on people suspected of trafficking illegal substances/contraband into the St.

Clair Correctional Facility. On Thursday, July 31, ADOC says that agents with their Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a residence in Odenville. This led to the arrest of Lieutenant Calvin Bush, who works as a correctional officer at the St. Clair Correctional Facility. ADOC says a separate, related search led them to confiscating 2.5 pounds of marijuana and 60 grams of methamphetamine. Bush was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and trafficking marijuana.
