Sawyer Towing searching for missing truck and 2010 Camaro convertible taken over the weekend
CINCINNATI - A towing company is searching for a stolen tow truck and a customer’s car after thieves broke into their property over the weekend.
Two trucks were taken from Sawyer Towing. One truck was recovered Monday, abandoned on a property in Dayton. The truck was unharmed.
The other truck is still missing, along with a 2010 Supersport Camaro convertible that was on a car trailer.
“Our property got broken into. Two of our tow trucks got stolen, along with a car in the back of it,” said Chad Hopewell, a dispatcher for Sawyer Towing.
“We’re still looking for the other one and the car trailer with a 2010 Supersport Camaro convertible on it,” Hopewell said.
Hopewell said the priority is getting everything back for the business, his boss and the customer who trusted them with the Camaro.
