Former Knicks player and current coach Patrick Ewing offers advice on the upcoming opportunity that his current team has. He also mentions the successful seasons the Knicks have had and how their fans behave when the teams win.
"What would you tell these Knicks if you were standing in the locker room about the opportunity that is in front of them right now?
- [Karl-Anthony Towns (KAT)] Being the hub of the offense is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Keep doing the things that you've been doing. The bench has to do their part as well. - [Patrick Ewing] They have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, no one knows if it's going to come back around.
Take advantage of this opportunity and continue to play as a team, do your part. - [Mike Woodson] Anything is possible. They have been putting in the work, they have great coaches, and that's everyone's goal at the beginning of the year to win a championship. Keep doing what you're doing and continue to believe in each other.
- [Josh Smith] They have to continue to do what they've been doing. We have been definitely hot in these last two rounds. Keep playing as a team, both offensively and defensively taking care of business, no turnovers, and just keep playing a team game.
