Vizsla Copper reports positive results from soil geochemical surveys, extending the copper anomaly at its Thira discovery. The expanded anomaly highlights the significant potential of the Poplar project.

Vizsla Copper is excited to announce positive results from its soil geochemical survey at the Thira discovery, part of the Poplar project. The survey results reveal a significant extension of the copper-in-soil anomaly, stretching over 3 kilometers east of the Thira copper-molybdenum discovery. This expanded anomaly is a positive indicator for the potential scale of the mineralization.

The company is actively working to identify high-priority drill targets, with a follow-up Phase 2 drill program planned. The Poplar project, located in central British Columbia, is known for its potential for porphyry-related copper and gold mineralization. The Thira target is just one of the promising areas within the project, alongside the Poplar deposit. The recent soil survey involved collecting samples across the alteration corridor to evaluate the extent of the mineralization. These latest findings, along with data from a recently completed Induced Polarization (IP) survey, are now being analyzed to refine drill targeting strategy. The expansion potential combined with the current scale of the mineralization, proximity to the surface, and established infrastructure in the area, further supports the idea that Thira is quickly becoming a major discovery. The company expects to update the market ahead of the follow-up drill program, planned for early 2026.\The initial Phase 1 drill program targeted areas based on a copper-molybdenum-silver soil geochemical anomaly identified in 2024. This anomaly was found to be spatially linked to the copper-molybdenum-silver mineralization at Thira. Drill holes from Phase 1 intersected noteworthy intervals of porphyry-related copper-molybdenum mineralization, characterized by chalcopyrite-molybdenite bearing stockwork and multi-stage porphyry-related veins. These veins cut through intensely altered volcanics and volcanic breccias and are associated with at least four phases of pre- and intra-mineral intrusions. The main copper-in-soil anomaly is now approximately 4,000 meters by 800 meters wide, with copper values reaching up to 1,200 ppm (0.12%) in soil samples. Soil samples were collected in 2025 across a 3-kilometer stretch of the alteration corridor, with samples gathered every 50 meters along northwest-southeast trending lines that were spaced 200 meters apart. The company is utilizing copper equivalent (CuEq) calculations to showcase the combined grades of copper, molybdenum, gold, and silver, relative to the copper price and accounting for conceptual metallurgical recoveries. The CuEq calculations are designed to give an illustrative sense of the overall value, but are not based on actual metallurgical test work on the Thira core samples. Further analysis and upcoming drill programs will provide more detailed insights.\The Poplar project itself covers a large 44,200-hectare area, containing Mesozoic-aged arc-related volcanic, sedimentary, and intrusive rocks, which are considered highly prospective for porphyry-related copper and gold mineralization. The Thira target is approximately 10 kilometers south of the Poplar deposit. Vizsla Copper holds an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Poplar project through a series of expenditure commitments and annual cash payments until 2027. The company's primary focus is the exploration and development of its copper properties, including value-added acquisitions, to generate long-term value for stakeholders. The completion of the IP survey, in conjunction with the comprehensive soil geochemical work, enables a more thorough evaluation of the subsurface geological features. The pending results from the eastern extension of the survey, along with the IP data, will be crucial in further refining drill targets and will help to determine the full extent and potential of the Thira discovery. The company remains focused on creating substantial value for its shareholders by identifying and developing high-quality copper projects
