A man was arrested after a 2-year-old allegedly overdosed on THC gummies.
According to court records, on Feb. 22, Joshua Allan Robbins had young children at his home and left THC gummies, marijuana and drug paraphernalia lying around. Robbins was not supervising the children, and a 2-year-old boy ingested THC gummies and overdosed, according to authorities.
The 2-year-old was taken to the hospital after he did not wake up and was lethargic. The boy was found to have a high level of THC in his system, according to court documents. His condition after that is unknown.
Robbins is charged with chemical endangerment of a child causing serious physical injury and reckless endangerment. He is also charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance to a minor in a June 2025 incident in which he sold or gave a controlled substance to a 15-year-old.
