The San Antonio-based company plans to begin renovations next summer, according to a state filing.
H-E-B plans to renovate its store at Tezel and Grissom roads on San Antonio ’s Northwest Side , though the grocer won’t say what that will entail. The San Antonio -based company plans to begin $3.4 million worth of work at the store at 9255 Grissom Road in June and finish construction in February 2026, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Other filings describe recent or upcoming renovations at H-E-B stores at Castle Hills, Las Palmas, Foster Road, Nacogdoches and O’Connor roads, Deco District, Commerce and Chupaderas streets, Marketplace on Bandera Road, and U.S. 281 and Loop 1604 as well as its Central Market store on Broadway. The company also appears to be adding a True Texas BBQ restaurant at its Plus store in Schertz. Along with remodeling stores, H-E-B continues to expand its footprint in the area.
