Production for the Terminus ’ director’s newest project is currently underway in Los Angeles . Apart from the impressive cast, the film will also mark the first collaboration between Benfield ’s Lama Entertainment and Furmie ’s Rezistor Films . In addition to starring, Benfield is also on board to produce the film along with Simone Bonser.
Nothing much has been revealed about The Weight of Darkness as of yet, but it was reported that the film will center around Benfield’s Mark Besson, a psychiatrist trying to change the public health system for the better. Jones’s John Gatlin will then help Mark in his mission. However, when her daughter suddenly went missing, shadowy conspiracies would soon unravel, forcing Mark and his estranged brother Jim (Macfadyen) to face their dark past.
