Critical Metals Corp reports outstanding assay results from recent and historical diamond drilling programs in Greenland. The results demonstrate the strategic value of Tanbreez as a rare earth and gallium project, highlighting its potential to contribute to domestic supply chains in the US.
Critical Metals Corp (Nasdaq: CRML), a leading critical minerals mining company, is pleased to announce outstanding assay results from recent and historical diamond drilling programs in southern Greenland . These exceptional results highlight the strategic significance of Tanbreez as a rare earth and gallium project, boasting scale, grade, and a high proportion of critical heavy rare earths.
The company's recent drilling at Tanbreez underscores the project's potential to play a vital role in securing domestic supplies of these critical minerals, especially given China's ban on gallium exports to the United States. These exports are crucial for US defense capabilities and national security. The company has been systematically processing all 2024 drill cores, with 50% of samples already submitted for assay and over 1,200 meters of drilling completed as part of the 2025 Fjord Resource Upgrade program. This progress positions Critical Metals Corp to build upon its significant resource base. Further assays are pending, and drilling continues, indicating strong potential to expand the project's mineral inventory. The assay results from 2010 drilling at the Hill Deposit were recently revealed. Ten diamond drill holes, initially drilled in 2010, were analyzed in June 2025 by ALS Metallurgical for rare earth elements, alongside other metals including gallium. These results, alongside previous assaying of historical drill cores from the Rimbal period (2007-2013), are nearing completion, and future news will primarily focus on current drilling results from the 2024-2025 campaigns. The company recently announced a series of historical diamond drilling results on March 28, 2025, May 12, 2025, May 20, 2025, and June 11, 2025, demonstrating compelling high-grade TREO and HREO comparison results from deep diamond drill holes compared to 2024 drilling results. The results of these historical drill core analyses are available in Tables 1 and 2. Regarding the 2024 diamond drilling program at the Fjord prospect, the program consisted of 16 holes totaling approximately 2,200 meters. This confirmatory program was designed to optimize the resource for future production capacity and extend the life of the Tanbreez Project. The company has completed processing core samples from 7 drill holes, with assay results expected to be released once ALS Metallurgical in Perth completes ICP Fusion Analysis for REE, HREE, and associated metal oxides, including gallium oxide, which is anticipated to occur by mid-September. Core samples from an additional 8 diamond holes are currently travelling from Greenland to Perth, with results expected in mid-October. Finally, the company announced on June 24, 2025, the execution of a US$2.0 million diamond drill hole contract aimed at increasing the existing Mineral Resource Estimate over the Fjord Eudialyte Deposit, which currently holds an Indicated Resource of 8.76 million tonnes and an Inferred Resource of 13.8 million tonnes, totaling 22.56 million tonnes.
