WARREN COUNTY, Ohio - A Cincinnati man was arrested after standing outside a Franklin Township home with a knife, threatening to kill a man “in the name of Allah,” according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Anthony Tyrone Jessie Long, 23, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated menacing and aggravated trespassing after deputies were called to a home just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday, April 5, on reports of a suspicious person, records from the sheriff’s office state. The daughter was able to get away, and the suspicious person fled in a car.About 15 minutes later, Clearcreek police were dispatched to a traffic stop near Bunnell Hill and State Route 122 to a caller who said they were being followed by a vehicle that tried to ram them. The driver who called 911 led the vehicle to a Clearcreek police station, where officers detained the man, identified as Long, who matched the description of the suspicious person wanted for threatening the Franklin Township family.
