A new series called 'Heroes: Eclipsed' has been announced, set years after the original series and featuring new evos with extraordinary powers. The show will follow a new group of heroes as they battle familiar villains and new enemies to save the world.
Deadline’s description of the new series reads, “ Heroes : Eclipsed is set years after the events of the original series as new evos are being awakened and discovering powers that will change their lives.
Featuring familiar villains and new enemies who once again will be attempting to suppress this next step in human evolution, it will be up to this new group of heroes to save the world.” Heroes: Eclipsed is envisioned as an ongoing series and has already been pitched to NBC and other streamers. Kring will executive produce the show alongside Jordan Cerf.All four seasons of Heroes are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The synopsis for the show, which ended in 2010 after four seasons, reads, “The series tells the stories of ordinary people who discover that they have superhuman abilities and how these abilities take effect in the characters’ lives as they work together to prevent catastrophic futures.”, that premiered in 2015. Kring returned to executive producer Heroes Reborn, which starred Jack Coleman, Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, and Kiki Sukezane.
