Form , a company known for its smart goggles designed for swimmers who enjoy the challenges of open water, is launching the Smart Swim 2 Pro. This latest iteration focuses on durability and user-friendliness, building upon the features of its predecessor. The standout improvement in the 2 Pro is the use of Gorilla Glass 3 for the lenses.
While adding a minimal amount of weight, this upgrade significantly enhances scratch resistance, a crucial feature for swimmers navigating the unpredictable conditions of open water. Familiar woes like anti-fog coating wearing off have also been addressed. Form acknowledges the common practice of wiping goggles with fingers, which can prematurely erode the anti-fog layer. To combat this, the 2 Pro comes bundled with a bottle of anti-fog spray – diluted baby shampoo, to be precise. Form has carefully determined the optimal dilution ratio and markings on the bottle guide users on refilling.Alongside the hardware improvements, Form is expanding its premium subscription offerings. Subscribers gain access to data-driven program planning, personalized tips for improvement, and, according to Form, experience a 1.4 times greater increase in swimming speed compared to users who solely rely on the hardware. The Smart Swim 2 Pro will be available for purchase starting July 15th, priced at $329 in the US, $449 in Canada, and €329 in Europe
