victory against Armen Petrosyan of Russia in a middleweight fight during the UFC 308 event at Etihad Arena on October 26, 2024 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The biggest riser across the promotion is 185-pound boogeyman Khamzat Chimaev .

Fresh off his devastating first-round submission win over Robert Whittaker, Chimaev rose ten spots to be ranked No. 3 in the middleweight division. Here is a look at the new rankings for middleweight, where Chimaev only trails the champion, Dricus Du Plessis, Sean Strickland, and Israel Adesanya in the rankings.victory during the UFC 305 event at RAC Arena on August 18, 2024 in Perth, Australia. Strickland was promised the next shot at Du Plessis in a rematch of their January meeting when the latter won the title via split decision. However, Chimaev was so dominant in his win over Whittaker that it sounded as if‘Your Money Is Being Wasted’—Tesla Billionaire Elon Musk Declares ‘Financial Emergency’ As $35.7 Trillion ‘Debt Bomb’ Primes A Bitcoin Price Boom To Rival GoldHarris And Trump’s Biggest Celebrity Endorsements: George W. Bush’s Daughter Backs Harris In addition to Chimaev's 10-spot leap, Shara Magomedov made waves with his spectacular double-spinning-back fist KO of Armen Petrosyan. Magomedov was previously unranked, but the viral KO win landed him at No. 15.Magomedov is now sandwiched between two middleweights who just fought at UFC Vegas 99 earlier this month. While Magomedov has called out Adesanya, a case could be made for him to fight either Hernandez or Pereira in his next fight. A scrap with Hernandez would be a significant test for Magomedov. Stylistically, Hernandez could be a nightmare for the dynamic Russian striker. Hernandez will test Magomedov's cardio and his takedown defense. The UFC may save that potential scrap for later in their careers and instead give both up-and-comers fights with veterans who are currently ranked higher. Jared Cannonier and Jack Hermansson would seemingly be ripe fruit for the pickings as we watch some serious turnover occur in the middleweight division.the UFC featherweight championship fight during the UFC 308 event at Etihad Arena on October 26, 2024 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Despite his huge third-round KO win over Max Holloway, UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria didn't rise in the promotion's pound-for-pound rankings. He remains fourth behind UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, and heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Holloway dropped a spot in the P4P rankings to 12th while the idle UFC men's flyweight champion moved to 11th. Somehow, Adesanya, who was idle and is on a two-fight losing streak, moved into the pound-f4p rankings at No. 15. I haven't agreed with White lately, but he's spot-on when he says something needs to be done about the promotions ranking system. Here is a look at the updated p4p rankings.during the UFC 302 event at Prudential Center on June 01, 2024 in Newark, New Jersey. UFC Fight Night Edmonton has a ton of ranked fighters in action, so we could see another major shift next week.
