A grand jury indicted Seeti Maua on sexual assault and burglary charges after prosecutors say two Juneau homes were attacked 16 minutes apart.

JUNEAU , Alaska - A Juneau grand jury has indicted a 25-year-old man on felony sexual assault and burglary charges tied to two alleged Seeti Maua was indicted Thursday on one count of sexual assault and two counts of first-degree burglary, according to the Alaska Department of Law.

He also faces three misdemeanor assault charges. According to the Department of Law, Juneau police first received a report of an assault at about 1:55 a.m. in the 9100 block of Cinema Drive. A woman reported that an unknown man knocked on the door of her home, then punched her boyfriend in the face when he opened the door, knocking him unconscious.

The woman told police she was then physically assaulted, lost consciousness and was sexually assaulted, according to the department. About 16 minutes later, police received a second assault report in the 3200 block of Tongass Boulevard. A man reported he had been asleep when an unknown man entered his home and struck him in the face. Maua is in Department of Corrections custody and is scheduled to be arraigned in superior court Monday.

Prosecutors requested bail of $50,000 cash performance and $50,000 cash appearance, along with a court-approved third-party custodian and other conditions. The court instead set bail at $10,000 unsecured appearance and $10,000 cash appearance, with electronic monitoring, location restrictions and other conditions.
