HEADLAND , Ala. - A beloved Headland seafood restaurant is shutting its doors permanently and immediately after three years of service. The Locals Seafood & Grill, located on Park Street next to the town square, announced their closure over social media on Wednesday, citing a combination of personal struggles behind the scenes regarding the health of one of the owners, as well as many of the extreme stresses facing small business owners in the current economic climate.
. “The overhead expenses, finding staff to work, the extreme high stress of running/owning a restaurant, and ultimately Michael’s health is becoming more than we can manage.
