Pamela Schronce has now been arrested 17 times since Jan. 1.
Jail records show Schronce was recently booked into the Pickens County Detention Center. The listed charge is obtaining money or property under false tokens or letters, less than $2,000.
The repeated arrests follow months of complaints from customers who told law enforcement they paid for items from Thomas and Turner Children’s Boutique but never received the merchandise or a refund. Authorities previously said Schronce has been transferred between detention centers following earlier arrests as the cases continued to move through the system. Schronce’s attorney previously said she is “looking forward to her day in court” and that the defense was still seeking discovery from state agencies.
