Park rangers at the Grand Canyon are asking for the public's help to find a missing 26-year-old man, and they're hoping to track down a good Samaritan who might have helpful information.
Sandarsh Krishna was originally reported missing on the afternoon of April 28. Krishna is described as 5-foot-10 with a thin build, weighing around 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing athletic clothes. Rangers believe Krishna had a black backpack with him before he disappeared.
Around 7 a.m. on April 28, a black backpack that is believed to be his was turned over to staff at the Bright Angel Lodge. Officials shared a photo of the good Samaritan, whom they are looking to speak with. This person is not considered a suspect and isn't in trouble, according to officials. Investigators believe the good Samaritan may be able to provide details of where the backpack was found, which may help in locating Krishna.
