The home dedicated to Terry Saban went to LaPorchia Mitchell, whose son turned two years old on Thanksgiving. It was a Women Build home honoring Terry Saban during the month of October with over 90% female volunteers.The Coach Saban Legacy Build home was built for Samantha Hamner and her young son. “I had a hard time in my life in September. My mom passed away. And she was so excited. She was more excited about the house than I was,” Hamner said. “She wanted to plant flowers and everything in front of the house. I know she’s not here in physical, but she’s here in spirit and she’s smiling.”“Samantha here made my salads for 17 years with love,” Nick Saban told the crowd during the dedication.
