A Texas man who threatened a flight attendant and injured two passengers on a flight to Washington , D.C. said he was heading to the capital city to speak with President Donald Trump , according to court documents obtained by CBS News.

Around 9 p.m., as the flight was preparing to land, Texas man Asterius Rulamka got up from his seat in the 14th row, according to an FBI affidavit reviewed by CBS News. ALSO READ: Musk eyes Social Security and benefit programs for cuts Passengers began filming on their phones as Rulamka approached a flight attendant and threatened to 'f--- him up' when the plane landed, according to the affidavit. Rulamka then verbally threatened and attacked one of the filming passengers, allegedly grabbing the passenger's arms and hitting him near his left eye. The passenger suffered bruising and a bloodshot eye, CBS News reported. Rulamka ran throughout the cabin before three passengers and several flight attendants were able to put him in a seat, according to court documents cited by CBS News. When the flight landed, Rulamka told FBI agents that he was heading to D.C. to speak with President Trump because he was 'mad.' A 2014 immigration investigation into Rulamka is pending. 'We do not tolerate violence, and thank our team members for their professionalism,' American Airlines said in a statement.
