The closure on I-405 occurred near Sunset Boulevard in Renton just after 5 a.m. All three southbound lanes were closed for nearly an hour, but one lane has reopened to let traffic through. The motorcyclist was the one who suffered a serious injury after the crash. According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson, the driver in the car involved in the crash fled the scene, and it is now considered a “hit-and-run.
