Pope Leo XIV has surprised 13 priests from southern Lebanon with a video call from Rome. He told them they are in his prayers and hoped for peace along the tense border with Israel. The priests, from villages like Rmeich and Marjayoun, were attending an online meeting with the Vatican’s ambassador to Lebanon when the pope joined.
