San Antonio 's City Council is making the switch to Zero-Based Budgeting. What does that mean for you? hat are set by you, the taxpayer and city council .
That’s why Councilman Whyte initiated a new budgeting practice for the city. It’s a hybrid method that incorporates zero-based budgeting or ZBB principles with outcomes-based budgeting that focuses on community and city council priorities. "It’s focused on efficiency it’s focused on effective use of your costs," says UIW Professor David Vequist.
"Even have AI help to develop recommendations for what we should prioritize in the future," says Dr. Vequist.
