Matt Mathews’ “Not What I Ordered” tour and Ole 60 will bring its Off The Grid Tour to Dothan.
DOTHAN, Ala. -Two big shows are headed to the Dothan Civic Center Arena later this year, with tickets for both going on sale this week.
Ole 60 will bring its headlining Off the Grid Tour to Dothan on August 28, The Kentucky-based band is touring in support of its debut album, “Smokestack Town,” and will feature rotating support acts along the way. Formed in Hancock County, Kentucky, Ole 60 isn’t a traditional country band, blending indie rock sounds with folk songwriting and country influences.
The group broke through in 2024, topping Spotify’s U.S. Viral Top 50 chart with “smoke & a light” and reaching No. 1 on the Apple Music Country Albums chart with its debut EP, “three twenty four,” surpassing artists including Zach Bryan and Morgan Wallen. The band later found more viral success with its EP “Songs About You” and breakout track “Thoughts of You,” which topped TikTok’s all-genre Viral 50 music chart.
Comedian Matt Mathews is scheduled to perform in Dothan on December 17, as part of his Not What I Ordered World Tour, which includes dates across North America, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. A Birmingham native, Mathews rose to national attention during the pandemic with viral “farm chore” videos and has since built a massive online following.
After making his stand-up debut in 2022, Mathews quickly moved from clubs to sold-out theaters and arenas, including his “Boujee on a Budget” Tour. His new show, “Not What I Ordered,” takes a more personal approach, drawing comedy from relationships, family, fame, farm life and mental health, while he continues producing digital projects, including his “Farm Chores” YouTube series.
