A cold front will spread rain showers, west to east, across the Susquehanna Valley between now and 2 pm this afternoon before northwest winds usher in drier, cooler air for the afternoon.
EASTER An approaching cold front is bringing rain shower s to the Susquehanna Valley this morning. They are expected to exit by early afternoon. Rain amouns will be between 0.25 to 0.50”. Temperatures peak in the mid to upper 50s early before falling into the mid 50s during the second half of the day.
Drier air works in helping to peel away the cloud cover during the late afternoon thanks to a northwest breeze 10 to 20 mph with occasional gusts to 25 mph. EARLY WEEKSkies are bright early Monday before a weak clipper brings some cloud cover during the afternoon. There may be some isolated sprinkles north but the chance is low. Temperatures will trend below normal in the mid 50s, and even colder, in the 40s ,on Tuesday. The weather conditions are expected to remain dry the rest of the week. REST OF WEEK INTO WEEKENDWhile the quiet weather pattern persists, temperatures slowly turning around. High temperatures are more seasonable in the low 60s on Thursday, then they climb to the 70s Friday. Next weekend will continue to be warm in the low to mid 70s.
