) - A River Region high school could win big at a national skills conference, but they need your help to fund their trip! The conference is the largest gathering of America’s future skilled workforce and recognizes excellence in career and technical education.
PHS placed first in the state in TV production and second in the news category, earning the trip. Held in Atlanta each June, the conference showcases a week-long celebration of the skilled trades and the accomplishments of career-ready leaders from across the United States. The event brings together more than 19,000 attendees, including students, instructors, industry partners, government officials and administrators.
