FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. - A Franklin County man reported missing is now in custody after authorities say he broke into a home, assaulted a woman, stole her van, and later crashed during a police chase in Ohio.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened overnight on Nineveh Road. Investigators say Trevor Walker and a juvenile, who had also been reported missing, broke into a home and assaulted a woman inside.Monday morning, the stolen van was spotted in Montgomery County, Ohio, in the Dayton area. A police chase began, ending in a head-on collision. Authorities say Walker ran from the scene but was found and arrested about an hour later. UPDATE: The suspect from this morning’s shelter-in-place incident is now in custody.
