Authorities say Facebook videos show Mark Jimenez, 23, firing an illegal automatic pistol alongside a convicted felon. Jimenez faces up to 15 years in prison.
A Del Rio man who reportedly posted videos of himself using an unlawfully possessed “ Glock switch” — used to convert a firearm for automatic operation — has pleaded guilty to violating federal weapons law, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. Mark Anthony Jimenez , 23, pleaded guilty in a federal court to one count of conspiracy to traffic firearms, U.S. Attorney Jaime Esparza of the Western District of Texas announced.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives found videos of Jimenez firing the pistol with a switch on Facebook. In the video, co-defendant Alleena Nikole Soto, 20, and a juvenile were also seen shooting the converted automatic weapon.
