Zodwa Wabantu continues to anger event organisers | Popular dancer and media personality Zodwa Wabantu continues to leave a messy trail of unkept promises and debt after she once again failed to pitch for a performance last weekend
Popular dancer and media personality Zodwa Wabantu continues to leave a messy trail of unkept promises and debt after she once again failed to pitch for a performance last weekend.
She was booked for five events at different pubs and nightclubs in Mbombela last Saturday and Sunday, but allegedly showed up at only one event before driving back to Johannesburg without saying why. “On the way to her next event, which is Club da Groove, she made a U-turn and said the place was far from where they were at the time. The promoter tried to explain, but they [Wabantu and her manager] did not listen. On the way back, they hit a pothole on the road and got a puncture. Then they decided to go to sleep after the puncture was sorted,” Chetz said.
Wabantu was booked to perform at Chetz’s establishment, Matsulu Old Complex, as well as at Busy Corner, Club de Groove and Coyotes Shisa Nyama.
