HBO's smash-hit drama series Euphoria is returning after a four-year hiatus, and the new trailer shows that not everything is going well for Rue as each character is facing the music for the mistakes made in their past. Rue is interrogated by a DEA agent and questioned about her time in Mexico, in which the trailer shows her attempting to smuggle drugs. The series is set to release on HBO and HBO Max on April 12. A group of childhood friends wrestle with the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption, and the problem of evil. The trailer also shows Demie's character, Maddie Perez, attempting to help former foe Sweeney's character, Cassie Howard, set up a successful OnlyFans. Cassie is only seen marrying Maddie's former lover, Nate Jacobs , which creator Sam Levinson described as"unforgettable." Levinson revealed that he believes season 3 is"our best season yet." Schafer's character Jules Vaughn is seen in art school while also hustling as a sugar baby dating older men.
