A young man is fighting for his life in hospital after being struck by pick up truck on a Dumfries street.The 24-year-old was walking along the road when he was struck by a black Mitsubishi L200 pick up vehicle.
Sergeant Colin Ramage from Road Policing said: “A man has been left seriously injured following this collision and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened.
