RNLI and Coastguard teams spent over 18 hours at sea during the mission to rescue three people on board the stricken boat.
Rescue teams have been scrambled to a stricken fishing boat after it got into difficulty in the North Sea during Storm Babet.
Due to the treacherous conditions, a decision was made to attach a tow to the boat to rescue the three people on board. The lifeboat took the casualty vessel under tow and headed back towards Lerwick, arriving into the harbour at 8:25am on Friday, October 20 – over 18 hours at sea.
