The streets of downtown San Antonio are getting a taste of Hollywood and the Old West . Filming of the second season of “1923,” a prequel to the popular Paramount series ' Yellowstone ' is set to take place next month in the Alamo City. Ceslie Armstrong , chief executive officer of the nonprofit Women in Film & Television San Antonio , said in a Facebook post Saturday that the show will be shooting in San Antonio .

Businesses on Broadway, between Pecan and Houston streets, and on Travis Street, from Alamo to Jefferson streets, have been told to prepare for street closures for the production starting Sept. 16, according to the San Antonio Report.
