Reggie Jackson spent his 21-year MLB career with four different clubs.

“No, no they’re not going to have a team here,” Jackson said. “You can’t play with 3, 4, 5, 6,000 people in the stands. You’ve got no suites sold, you have no revenues here. What’s the signage look like? You’ve got to have the revenue. You’ve got to have players on your team making $20-30 million a year if you’re going to compete and contend. You can’t do it, can’t do that here.”

The team’s lease on their ballpark, the Oakland Coliseum, is up after the 2024 season. The A’s are currently in negotiations with the city of Oakland on a proposed new park., already reside there and its president, Don Logan is in favor of the big club’s relocation.
