Xiaomi ’s T-series devices are known for delivering powerful performance at a non-flagship price point, and the Xiaomi 15T Pro is no different. While this lineup is no longer a mid-range offering, Xiaomi ’s new 15T Pro brings Leica cameras, a big battery, and a sharp screen alongside a redesigned look for less than the Pixel 10 andThe Xiaomi 15T Pro features brushed metallic accents under glass and aluminum rails that blend cleanly to give it a polished metallic look.
It’s nothing like any other current-gen phone and seems as if the design was borrowed straight from the all-metal. The phone has flat edges and a boxy design, which could be a little uncomfortable to hold for long durations. That said, its camera bump is another big improvement with a rounded squircle module. It looks cleaner than before.Xiaomi packed a big screen on its new phone. The 15T Pro features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with minimal bezels and support for a 144Hz refresh rate. It is claimed to deliver a maximum brightness of 3,200 nits for supported HDR content. It gets plenty bright in direct sunlight and remains legible in harsh lighting conditions.The Xiaomi 15T Pro is powered by the MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ SoC, which remains a capable flagship chipset . It is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB to 1TB of storage, depending on the model of your choice. The new Xiaomi phone packs a 5,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging. It will last you an entire day with ease. But you no longer get a charger in the box.In terms of optics, the new Xioami phone sports a new 50MP Light Fusion 900 main camera with an OmniVision OVX9100 sensor and OIS support. It is joined by a 50MP Samsung JN1 telephoto lens with OIS and 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide-angle camera with an OmniVision OV13B sensor and 15mm equivalent focal length. You get familiar performance where it excels in point-and-shoot street photography and does well in Portrait mode. Low-light photos turn out to be surprisingly good, whereas selfies could be better. You get the same 32MP selfie shooter as before.Unfortunately, the Xiaomi 15T Pro doesn’t run the latest software out of the box. It comes with Android 15-based in-house skin, which offers plenty of customization options but also retains its quirks. There is no word on when it’ll get updated to the latest version of Android. The Xiaomi 15T Pro starts at £649 for the 12GB/256GB model in the U.K., with the 12GB/512GB variant costing £699 and the 12GB/1TB model going up to £799 .
