"They hit my mate over the head with a baseball bat twice inside the loungeroom, there blood everywhere," friend Paddy Welsh said."They would have killed him, they would have kept hitting him with the bat."Two men, 27 and 18, were arrested outside the property.

The 41-year-old was rushed to Flinders Medical Centre in a serious condition with non-life threatening injuries.
