Two attackers allegedly smashed their way into the Christie Downs home with a brick, crowbar and pole at about 1am today. "They hit my mate over the head with a baseball bat twice inside the loungeroom, there blood everywhere," friend Paddy Welsh said."They would have killed him, they would have kept hitting him with the bat."Two men, 27 and 18, were arrested outside the property.
The 41-year-old was rushed to Flinders Medical Centre in a serious condition with non-life threatening injuries.
