The Texas Rangers are on the cusp of a World Series title after dominating the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday. Game 5 is Wednesday night.
There’s one change to the Rangers’ lineup for Game 5, with left fielder Evan Carter moving up to the third spot and designated hitter Mitch Garver moving down to the cleanup spot against Diamondbacks right-hander Zac Gallen.
Travis Jankowski gets his second consecutive start in place of injured right fielder Adolis García after going 2 for 4 with two runs scored and a pair of RBI in Game 4. Corbin Carroll returns to the leadoff spot for the Diamondbacks, and the rookie will be followed by Ketel Marte, Gabriel Moreno and Christian Walker. Veteran third baseman Evan Longoria returns to the lineup after sitting out Game 4.
