Corey Seager's third home run of the World Series gave the Rangers an early lead in Game 4 on Tuesday night. The Texas Rangers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 11-7, in Game 4 of the World Series, pushing them to the cusp of their first title.
Marcus Semien, Corey Seager and Jonah Heim homered for Texas, which seized an early lead with consecutive five-run innings Tuesday night and held off Arizona’s late comeback attempt. The Rangers lead the series 3-1 but are playing without injured stars Adolis García and Max Scherzer, both of whom were removed from the World Series roster Tuesday. Game 5 is Wednesday night in Phoenix.for the rest of the series.
All World Series games will air on Fox and have an 8:03 p.m. Eastern start time. ESPN Radio will also air the games.for the rest of the series. Right-hander Max Scherzer, the 39-year-old future Hall of Famer acquired at the trade deadline, exited Game 3 after three innings with back tightness. Breakout slugging star Adolis García left with left-side tightness. Texas removed both Scherzer and García from its World Series roster Tuesday night.
