Three women suspected of stealing merchandise from two suburban Ulta Beauty stores were arrested on theft and burglary charges Wednesday when they allegedly tried to do the same at a Naperville store, police said.
Detectives and patrol officers were placed on surveillance at Naperville’s two Ulta Beauty stores after the police department was notified that a group traveling in a black Mercedes had committed retail thefts at two other stores, Naperville police said in a news release. They spotted the suspects’ car about 2 p.m. at the Ulta store at 2707 Aurora Ave. and observed the three suspects go inside, the release said.
The women, all from Chicago, were each charged with two counts of felony retail theft and one count of felony burglary. They are Jayla M. Alston, 20, of the 900 block of East 104th Street; Skylar L. Escoe, 19, of the 3100 block of West Polk Street; and Darielle L. Wrice, 19, of the 6400 block of South Bell Street.
