Pahmah Nastih, 38, was rushed from her home at Kampung Kasuapan, Pulau Gaya to the city jetty by her brother-in-law, Halilih Ladjahali.On reaching the jetty, which was about 10 minutes’ boat ride from their village, he tried to hail any passing vehicle that he could find. He and his wife helped Pahmah to the main road at Todak Square but she said that she could not wait for the ambulance.
