They found a woman who was dead with obvious signs of trauma.Phoenix police were called to perform a welfare check at a home near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. When officers got to the house, they were told by the caller they observed blood outside the home.
No suspects have been detained, police said. Woman Arrested 20 Years After Newborn Baby Found Dead at Phoenix AirportA woman has been arrested nearly 20 years after her newborn baby was found dead at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The baby, known as 'Baby Skylar', was discovered wrapped in newspapers and a towel, stuffed in a hotel plastic bag in a trash can in a women's restroom at the airport. The case was ruled a homicide and detectives have been working on it for years. The FBI used genetic genealogy to find a maternal match for the victim, leading to the arrest.
