Officers wait near the scene of a shooting in Spring Branch, where a woman was found dead in a ditch.A woman early Monday was found dead in a ditch in Spring Branch after an apparent shooting, officials said.
Officers around 3:50 a.m. received a call about gunfire in the 7400 block of Cyr Street, Lt. Ronnie Willkens of the Houston Police Department told On Scene reporters.Police found several guns, bullet casings and a vehicle that had been riddled with bullets. Several people were detained at the scene, but police have not named anyone charged or arrested in connection to the death.
