Witnesses said the woman was seen crawling out of the driver’s seat following the crash. Police found her outside her car appearing uninjured.The woman was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and taken to the Southwest Precinct. Her car, deemed undrivable, was impounded. A DUI search warrant was signed by a judge, allowing an SPD officer to perform a legal blood draw on the suspect. She was then booked into the King County Jail.
The Seattle Police Department urges the public to call 911 if they suspect a driver may be impaired by alcohol or drugs.
